We host events throughout the year – locally, nationally and internationally.  They are fun, informative and a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new memories.

St Hugh's Law Society AGM and Dinner - 4 November 2019

We are honoured that The Right Honourable Lord Reed, PC, FRSE, Deputy President of The Supreme Court, will join us as our distinguished speaker for the 2019 St Hugh’s Law Society Dinner. This year’s AGM and dinner will be hosted at the offices of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP in London, with our deepest thanks to Dorothy Livingston (Law, 1966). Standard tickets for this special event are £95 and are on sale here.

SOLD OUT 'Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh', Saatchi Gallery, London - 25 November 2019

The Development Office has reserved 50 tickets for the exhibition ‘Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh’ at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Don’t miss this final opportunity to view more than 150 original artefacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb before they are returned to Cairo to be permanently housed with Tutankhamun’s full collection at the new Grand Egyptian Museum.

Our annual service of Nine Lessons and Carols will be followed by a festive supper in the College Dining Hall. Booking will open in Michaelmas Term 2019.

Oxford Alumni Weekend in Berlin - 20-21 March 2020

St Hugh’s College is delighted to be participating in the Oxford Alumni Weekend ‘Meeting Minds in Berlin’ in March 2020. Details of St Hugh’s events which will take place alongside the University’s programme will be shared here in the coming months, but for now please do add the dates to your diary

April 2020

Oxford Alumni Weekend in New York City - 17-19 April 2020

We are looking forward to catching up with our alumni based in North America and further afield at the Oxford Alumni Weekend in New York in April 2020. Our programme of events will include a St Hugh’s dinner for alumni and friends at the Yale Club in NYC on the evening of 18 April 2020, at which some of the College’s newest Distinguished Friends will be honoured, as well as the second meeting of the new St Hugh’s North American Alumni Association on the morning of 19 April 2020. Further details and booking information will be available here in the coming months.

Bookings for our forthcoming events will open very shortly.

Can I bring a Guest?

Most of our events are open to alumni and their guests, however in some instances – due to the size of venue, etc – we have to limit bookings to alumni only.

Information on guest status can be found on individual Event information.

Parking for Events at St Hugh’s

Priority on site is given to alumni and their guests whose mobility is limited. Additional parking is available adjacent to College, on Canterbury Road and St Margaret’s Road, and is limited to two hours per day. Our visit us page has more information on travelling to St Hugh’s.

Accommodation

If you would like to enquire about booking accommodation in College, please visit our Bed and Breakfast pages. Alumni are entitled to discounted rooms in College; please use promo code SMR009 when booking.

Event Cancellations

If you can no longer attend an event for which you have booked, please email the Development Office or call 01865 613839. Cancellations received with less than a week’s notice before an event will not receive refunds.
